Located in downtown Batavia, Tusk is a purveyor of fine Thai dining from esteemed Chef Nualprang Lalam.

 

 

Tusk Thai opened in August 2010 and is located in downtown Batavia. Chef Nualprang Lalam has been the head chef of multiple restaurants in the Chicagoland area in the past 30 years. Her talent for bold flavor compositions in Thai cuisine has make Tusk's food some of the best in town.

Tusk's interior is designed to be reminicent of the owner's hometown of Surin, Thailand. The restaurant is decorated with the dark colors of Surin's jungles and multiple wood carvings by Thai craftsmen. Surin is famous for their elephant sanctuary and hosts the annual elephant festival in November. The restaurant is named Tusk for the owner's love of Surin and Surin's love of elephants.
